Key Purpose of the Job
The position of Web Developer has been created to aid the creation of a newer, fresher, updated website and Intranet system and will work closely with the Information Architect to improve the overall design and functionality of the sites.
Needs To Do
- The nature of this large scale project means the successful individual is proficient in internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers. Proficiency in writing programming code is a must as is an aptitude to test and identify any problems with the sites. You will be self motivated, confident working within a team and will possess the capability of working on multiple projects at any one time. An awareness of International web standards and protocols is essential.
Needs To Know
- Strong working knowledge of modern content management systems
- Demonstrable experience in PHP, HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of further web technologies such as Ruby, Python, SQL and Java.
- Demonstrable experience in UX Design an advantage.
- Experience of Visual Effects Industry would be nice to have but not essential.
